Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect the minimum data required to provide RoadFound's features:

• Email address — when you subscribe to updates or create an account
• LinkedIn profile data — name, profile photo, and public URL, when you authenticate via LinkedIn OAuth to claim a path
• Career transition data — the path you claim, your origin and current countries/continents, and programs you've attended. You choose what to make visible publicly
• Analytics data — page views and interactions via Google Analytics (GA4), anonymised. We do not use GA4 advertising features

2. How we use it

• To display your profile on the path community page (only if you set your profile to visible)
• To aggregate anonymised statistics about career transition patterns
• To send you updates about RoadFound if you've subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To improve the platform based on usage patterns

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising targeting.

3. Who has access

Your data is stored in Supabase (EU region, Ireland). Email is delivered via Resend. Analytics are processed by Google Analytics. These are the only third parties with access to your data, and only to the extent necessary to provide their services.

4. Your profile visibility

When you claim a path, you choose whether your profile is publicly visible or anonymous. You can change this setting at any time by contacting us. If you are visible, your display name, headline, and LinkedIn URL (if provided) may appear on the relevant path page.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymised statistics derived from your data may be retained.

6. Cookies

We use cookies for session management (Supabase auth) and analytics (GA4). No advertising cookies are used. You can disable analytics cookies via your browser settings or by using a content blocker.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@roadfound.com. We will respond within 30 days.
